HF Surface Wave Ra in Adverse Con

چکیده
For the past 12 years the Canadian Department of National Defence and Raytheon Canada Limited have collaborated on a cost-shared programme to develop an Integrated Maritime Surveillance (IMS) system based on HF Surface Wave Radar (HFSWR). The primary objective behind the programme was to demonstrate the capability of HFSWR to continuously detect and track surface targets (ships and icebergs) as well as airborne targets, at all altitudes, to ranges in excess of 200 nautical miles, reliably and consistently in real time and in all weathers. A secondary objective was to demonstrate the concept of IMS, involving the fusing of data from HFSWR radars and other sensors. This paper reviews techniques and methods used in the processing of HFSWR data to ensure that performance is maintained, even under adverse operating conditions.

Effect of hydrofluoric acid concentration and etching time on the surface roughness of CAD/CAM ceramics
Introduction: Dental ceramics are considered as materials that can restore the appearance of natural teeth. Etching the inner surface of a ceramic restoration with hydrofluoric acid (HF) followed by using a silane coupling agent is a well-known and recommended method to increase the bond strength. The aim of etching on ceramic structure is to enhance the surface roughness (Ra) and energy and to...
متن کاملAltered thermoregulatory responses in heart failure patients exercising in the heat
Heart failure (HF) patients appear to exhibit impaired thermoregulatory capacity during passive heating, as evidenced by diminished vascular conductance. Although some preliminary studies have described the thermoregulatory response to passive heating in HF, responses during exercise in the heat remain to be described. Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare thermoregulatory responses i...
متن کاملHigh-fat diet elevates resting intramuscular triglyceride concentration and whole body lipolysis during exercise.
This study determined the role of intramuscular triglyceride (IMTG) and adipose lipolysis in the elevated fat oxidation during exercise caused by a high-fat diet. In four separate trials, six endurance-trained cyclists exercised at 50% peak O2 consumption for 1 h after a two-day control diet (22% fat, CON) or an isocaloric high-fat diet (60% fat, HF) with or without the ingestion of acipimox, a...
متن کاملEffect of the Surface Treatment Method Using Airborne-Particle Abrasion and Hydrofluoric Acid on the Shear Bond Strength of Resin Cement to Zirconia
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) of two different resin cements (Panavia F 2.0 (Kuraray Medical Inc, Okayama, Japan) and Variolink N (Ivoclar Vivadent AG, Schaan, Liechtenstein)) to 112 zirconia specimens with airborne-particle abrasion and 20%, 30%, or 40% hydrofluoric acid (HF) for 1 or 2 h. A total of eight specimens were used to observe the phase trans...

This study was designed to examine the effects of retinoic acid adding to cumulus and/or fibroblast cellsmonolayer on the development of mouse early embryos. One-cell mouse embryos were obtained from NMRImice after superovulation by an intraperitoneal injection of 5 IU equine chorionic gonadotrophin (eCG)followed 48 hrs later by 5 IU human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG). Mouse embryonic fibrobla...
